Requirements

  • Right to live and work in Singapore
  • Minimum age of 18 due to legislative requirements of Singapore
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, or a minimum qualification of GCE ‘O’ Level (or equivalent) with a pass in English accompanied by at least one year of cabin crew experience
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and at least one of the following additional languages for serving our international customers: Cantonese, Putonghua, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia, Filipino, Hindi, Japanese, Korean or Thai
  • Proficiency in Putonghua would be an added advantage for interacting with our Putonghua-speaking customers
  • Minimum arm-reach of 208cm on tiptoe for carrying out safety and emergency procedures onboard
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience in the airline, hospitality or service industry would be an added advantage

 

As this position is safety-sensitive, successful candidates are required to meet the following criteria to perform the role of a cabin crew:

  • Successfully complete a comprehensive pre-employment background check, including criminal records
  • Pass a pre-employment medical assessmentI
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test. Testing will be conducted following the HKCAD Guidance for Screening of Psychoactive Substances (CAD373).

 

Exemption from English Assessment is available for candidates with either of the following:

  • TOEIC® (Public Test): A valid score of 325 or above in both Reading and Listening
  • IELTS (Academic): A valid overall Band Score of 6.0 or above
